Everything is good. It NIP is too strong for them and for any another GO team. May they'll take more rounds on second map. ;) GL

Easy clutch for neo in 1.6 train. worst map lay out and ladders, doesn't allow for sick movement or skill just running and gunning.

Actually i played source since release and only played 1.6 for fun during my time in Source.. So nice try If you think the CS:GO train map & layout is good, then you aren't a supporter of competitive or skillful counter-strike. NEO was an absolute demon in 1.6 because of his unparalleled skill in movement and smarts, probably the best clutcher in the history of 1.6. Then you see him in CS:GO de_train and you just have to feel sick, the maps and movement aren't allowing our best players to be the best they possibly can be. If you disagree with that then you are in trouble. Bare in mind I'm a full supporter of CS:GO. I'm just being realistic lol

The clutch story might be disputed, for me Loord, Zeus, GeT_RiGhT, mb some more are at least up to par. ...also, NEO used great/smart movement to his advantage, Yes, but i think f0rest and Edward used *s1ck3r* (fluently beautyful) more challenging/remarkable and unique movement-pattern. Style wich differs more from the rest then NEO's. G5 used NEO in other ways to succeed, especially the last years, much more defensive role. Eventually it suited them well. Once again steppig it up extra when major titles at stake. That motivated f0rest back in his absolute prime years is the most superior Counter-Strike 1.X player ever walked this earth. Perfect aim, movement - teqnique. Its common CS knowledge. Looks like he's having some real fun again in this young CS:GO(-title). Izboutime.. I know the poles might hate/laught at me (and thats also pretty much my mission) but i wish them gl in this game.... its important they're making some serious success in order to build up that extra interest around this new CS-title. As a matter of fact, fnatic, mouz, navi etc also ...

Can agree about the movement, but about the skill its obvious NiP players are way more skilled at this game, so its pretty obvious who wins the trades. I mean, if it this game/map isnt skill required (like most 1.6 fanboys say), why is NiP so dominant? Hell if theres no skill involved, they should trade rounds with noname teams right?

dude, being able to spam the crouch button to gain an advantage from an unsolved exploit is all cs:go needs to become cs 1.6's worthy succesor. there's obviously no skill gap and the way the competitive scene has panned out is 100% due to luck. i mean nip haven't lost a single map on lan but they're obviously as good as your average matchmaking team. mymememaker.com/media/created/lonve2.jpg

Of course it will. Game is still new most teams are still getting to NiP level. Cant wait to see NiP vs 1 team with the same skill level. Then CS:GO may actually be almost as fun to watch as 1.6 i mean.. if you put 2 bad teams in 1.6 playing, its not enjoyable, if you put ESC in 1.6 vs 1 bad team, its not enjoyable to watch either

If you put fnatic in 1.6 vs 1 bad team, is it enjoyable to watch or extremely boring? Imagine watching 1.6 2003 cpls and shit like that where the skill level was extra low compared with 2012, of course it would be extremely boring to watch aswell. People have to realize the games will only become as entertaining as 1.6 when the skill level beetweens the 2 teams playing are equal, which is never the case vs NiP atm

it is fact that none of these and other players would've been so dominant if they weren't full time payed players, especially if you look at 1.6 in the recent years. look which teams won most of the tournaments, history tells.

esc are 3 time wcg champs, i don't think they had a salary for any of those victories. hell, they won one of those out of their own pockets. sk gaming was salaried in their forever second place run from 2007 to their disbandment. if mtw was salaried after '08, boy was that a waste since they also did not win a single tournament until their death. the only thing history tells is that some teams dominate for a certain period of time because of skill/strategies/being just plain different (na'vi), it has nothing to do with salaries/play time.

it has a hell lot to do with playtime and effort you invest into the game and full time players have a better basis for constantly high results. shouldn't mean such players always make the best out of it.. don't know much about esc's real lifes, guess they are just talented. and i think they are the team which sticked together for the longest time period and changing the fewest players, to be exact one player, which also plays an important role.
2012-12-16 02:44

don't back away from your own statements. you said in your first post it's no surprise nip won and alluded to their dominance in your second post because they play more and are salaried. i reminded you of many teams that didn't dominate while playing a metric shit ton of time and got paid to do so. now you switch to "full time players have a better basis for constantly high results". indeed that comes as no surprise, but placing well in tournaments does not equal to being dominant, specifically nip's current dominance.

esc placed second because several teams did not attend, don't fool yourself. i don't think they've had enough time, but when i watch them play it's just painful to see they clearly haven't fully adapted to cs:go or lost those 1.6 habits that harm their performace. they have a ton of potential, but sometimes they look so lost for a team of their pedigree.

obviously they are not what they were in 1.6... But if you watched their games today you could see thay they played really really good. This match went bad for them, but they can do more damage, of course they can, just look how they plaed vs NiP in last tournament and also vs VG. ESC has grown a lot, always with the same squad.

i have nothing to say about your post other than the fact that i spot an incredible amount of mistakes coming from esc's players. to be honest, it feels like every team "is shook" to play nip. both verygames and esc, and to some extent mouz.uk (curse.eu took them to overtime but that was online), make an absurd amount of mistakes against the swedes and results could be way different if they cut them down.

it really doesn't make sense to watch the finals at the moment. the whole group stage/playoffs are actually more interesting than the final. basically it's just "who gets second" since the first place is already decided. that's not what i call entertainment. :/

Close is not enough. And Curse have less playtime then ESC and already in higher level now. What are you waiting for? More excuses? ESC might need 50 years to be good in go.

GG NIP are just winning every single 1v1 duel and even their ecos are more dangerous than most teams on buy. ESC did quite well when NEO used awp, why he stopped? Kuben and loord lost all their duels, neo kept dieing early, pasha couldnt do anything unusual with awp and Taz basically carried their team and played quite well.

this game is not interesting so far, the times from 1.6 will never come back, when in the finals were 163262 comeback and overtimes, 10 teams were equal, in CSGO is NiP and others, this game isn't entertaining and never will be imo, still would rather to watch LoL :D but gg both

People need to adapt to the game and catch up with NiP. It's just a matter of time before it happens. There were just a few teams dominating back in the days (NiP/SK especially). But eventually people will get to NiP's level and then anything can happen.

This. Do not forget the days of SK 1.6 dominance... it was the exact same thing as NiP in CSGO right now.

There are many good teams now who are coming up in the back of NiP. The might beat them in some maps soon. But for now NiP are on a different level.

omg u have also 10 teams equal here except Nip, every match is interesting and funny to watch except Nips matches. I dont watch their matches and i am satisfied with every CSGO tournament.

Nips overconfidence is half of the every match. If u play against weaker enemy and u know it, u are selfconfident, u are shooting headshots that u dont understand it yourself and thats going to happen here. Just remember match against mous.uk. They were not afraid, they lowered down Nips selfconfidence, forced them to make mistakes and it was almost equal match.
