If skins arent returned this will DEFINITELY be the last time i will bet ANYTHING on a CS:GO match. This is practically the same as fans fysically attacking players of a soccer match DURING the game. They played out the match, so that should in my opinion be implied that the match was "fair." They could have easily just said DDOS can't play or find a sub, no? edit: also, in the case that VP had won the game, would they say sorry VP won, but they got DDOSSED return skins. So, in the event that VP had won "with ddos attack," VP would have said "hey mouz we should rematch because we got ddossed, but won... we want a fair match." Yeah that would probably NEVER be the case. So basically, by playing out the rest of the match they 100% FREEROLLED all bets on their team if they are even considering in returning the bets since there was no way mouz "could have won the match" theoretical scenarios VP w/DDOS vs Mouz - result VP win, VP betters win VP w/DDOS vs Mouz - result mouz win, people complain rematch VP rematch vs Mouz - result VP win, VP betters win VP rematch vs Mouz - result mouz win, mouz betters wonder why there was even a rematch/why they were forced to play out the previous rounds in the first 2 scenarios

It did remain paused. It didn't help at all because he was DDOS'd during the rounds. This was the deciding game for VP to go to lan, and Mouz even thought the match wasn't fair in chat. I think it is ok if both teams agree to a rematch. If Mouz say no then move on, and it is not their fault, but it will show good sportsmanship if they agree. Basically, VP got ddos'd out of a lan spot, tournament rigged. = no integrity.

Whether it was a deciding factor for VP to go to LAN or not is 100% irrelevant and should not add influence to any consideration of a rematch in this scenario. VP had all the power to pause the match, but didn't. I don't see how anyone can cry after the result of a loss in which they had control to wait for either the DDOS to subside or an admin to finally agree to a postpone. You are trying to eat your cake and have it too.

It subsided, then came back during the rounds. It was a 'calculated' DDOS unlike the constant DDOS we usually see. They paused multiple times thinking it had subsided, only to come back during crucial moments during the round. (after 10 rounds I believe) Don't get what's hard to understand about that.

Yes, I watched the entire game. I know what happen. Thank you for recapping it to me. A pause can happen during a round when the player is supposedly getting DDOSSED, I don't know what's so hard to understand about that.

Their rules clearly states that the bets should remain though; "If a player (or players) disconnect from a game for whatever reason and the team chose to play on - the bet will remain." We'll have to wait and see though.

I´ll deal with this by not betting again on CS:GO matches since this WILL happen again. Plenty of other sports to bet on. Perhaps Tennis? Is it likely that somone sits in the crowd and blinds one of the players with a Laser causing them to lose alot of points thereby losing the match? Possibly! Is it likely that the match will be played out like nothing happended? Ofcourse not, that would be silly - because the match would´ve been unfair and that ruins the "SPORT". Match would obviously be cancelled(or postponed) and bets returned(or frozen). Hmm perhaps i should bet on soccer! Is it likely that somone in the crowd attacks the goal keeper with a softgun? Possibly! Is it likely that the referee(admin) would ignore this should it lead to an obvious disadvantage for the victim team? Of course he wouldn´t ignore it, because the match would´ve been unfair and that ruins teh "SPORT". Match would obviously be cancelled(or postponed) and bets returned(or frozen). Okay so what about Motorsport? F1? If i bet on a driver whereas someone attacked his vehicle with a bazooka damaging it so it could only drive at half speed, would I just have "been unlucky" and lost my money betting on him? Or would I have my bet returned? Bets would obviously be returned as that situation would have been unfair, and would ruin the "SPORT" of the game. So i guess i have plenty of choices....
