Betting contest for Cph Games

The final contest on our site in which you can win a prize during Copenhagen Games will be via our betting system. We have reset everyone's balance yesterday, and if you end up with the most fictional money thanks to accurate bets after the event you will be entitled to one SteelSeries Sensei RAW.

As some of you may have noticed, we reset everyone's betting balance last night in order to give you all the same start in the race to win a SteelSeries Sensei RAW by placing bets on matches at Cph Games 2013.

In order to come out on top you will have to be very accurate in your predictions, as just group stage itself will have 48 matches, followed by similarly lenghty playoffs. You will also need to be quick, as when playoffs start the bets will stay open for only a short period of time.

Here are the rules about this competition, some slightly altered compared to usual:

- All participants will start with the same amount of fictional money (27,000, found under the betting icon in your account's menu)
- The user with the highest balance at the end of the tournament will claim the prize
- The bets will only be added for the main (male) tournament
- Since most of the tournament is played in best-of-three mode, no draws will be possible, including the potential lower bracket overtime matches (unlike our standard rule)
- In case the grand final ends with a 1-1 score in maps due to the team from the upper bracket having an automatic one map lead, we will count the result as 2-1
- It is not allowed to use multiple accounts to increase your chances or to start over

The betting will commence as soon as we add the main tournament's matches tonight after the group draw.

We will do our best to add the playoff matches as soon as possible and to have accurate start times in order to prolong betting time, but in the end it will depend on the teams themselves.
