strux1 responds to cLy

In yet another episode of the saga involving /10/, Hendrik "strux1" Goetzendorff has issued a statement of his own to respond to Anil "cLy" Gülec's allegations.

After learning that /10/ had decided to go public about his departure, Gülec stated that the team's side of the story did not ring entirely true as he had allegedly made no plans to quit the squad.

The Turkish player went on to criticise his treatment by his teammates and labelled /10/ "one of the weirdest teams" he has represented in his career.

In the comment section at HLTV.org, Goetzendorff has now shed some more light into the story. His statement can be found below:

"Before Dreamhack he [cLy] had big problems, especially with stavros. He told us that he was going to leave the team because he hates stavros and he doesnt like anyone but Mantis. And there it starts, we had to pracc two weeks before dreamhack with him not saying a single word in teamspeak while we were playing. I think you can imagine that everyone had gone mad and we decided to cut him from the team after dreamhack. I have to say, we did not tell him because we were scared of him not coming to DH.

"On the first day in sweden I offered him to give me euros for swedish krones, his answer was 'no thanks, I do not want you to make profit of it'. I just thought "wtf?" and did not care about it anymore. He did not ask anyone from us a single time to exchange money for him after that. By the way, we had breakfast booked in our hotel and I did not see him there once in the morning. I do not know why he ate chips in his room but I know he did not have to.

"And yes, it is true that he went back to the hotel and that i didnt give him the keys to the car. But it is just simple, it was a rented car and the insurance was not in his name. He is also not 21 years old and has had his driver's license for less than two years, which means he is not allowed to drive the rented car.  Last but not least, he nearly killed us on the trip back from vienna when he was driving. If he crashed the car then, it would be my fault and I would have to pay for it, so I decided not to take the risk.

"And now I will talk about the things that happened after dreamhack. We had a good time on the trip back home with cly, he did not complain once about anything. If people want to hear it from a neutral person, they can just ask apex from LDLC about it because we offered to take him back with us in our car because he had passport problems. From Monday morning, he spent the whole time with us. When I came online on Wednesday then, asmo, mantis and myself got kicked out of the Starladder team. We asked the admins what happened, and they told us cLy had cancelled our trip to Kiev and told them that he would create a new team with Nille and stavros next season to steal our licence from starladder. I contacted cLy and asked him what he had done, and the only thing I got back were insults. I told him that we would offer him a lot chances to stay in the team although he was raging, especially at asmo in every practice game / official match. But when a player does not want to work with a team, even if you do everything you can, you give up.

"So people can think whatever they want now. My story can be proved by apex and the starladder admins. I have to say it is kind of my fault that this happened because I started playing with him again after we kicked him from TCM because of the same problems. So please do not blame asmo or Mantis for anything, they are two of the nicest guys i have ever played with!!!"
