SLTV StarSeries VII announced

SLTV StarSeries has announced its seventh season set to run from August 14th till September 22nd online with finals in Kiev on 10-13th October. Online qualifier will be played on August 11th.

The prize purse for SLTV StarSeries VII altered from the previous seasons so that it's now more top heavy and teams can no longer simply play the online portion of the league and win money.

Only top four placings pay out now, with the winners taking home a total of $7,000 at CyberSports ARENA in the Ukrainian capital. Full distribution is listed below:

A total of thirteen teams have been invited directly to SLTV StarSeries VII, including the likes of defending champions NiP, Astana Dragons and VeryGames. This marks the Frenchmen's return to SLTV.

Currently both ESC Gaming and Natus Vincere also hold spots for the online league, although it's unknown if they will yield teams as no announcements have been made. Three teams will make it through the qualifier.

The qualifier, as previously mentioned, will take place online on August 11th and will award three spots for SLTV StarSeries VII. Six teams will take part in the qualifier, with matches starting at 19:00 on Sunday.

Winner of each best-of-one group will qualify directly for SLTV StarSeries VII, while the second and third place finisher in each group will face off in a best-of-three for final spots in the qualifier.
