EYEBALLERS Removes CS Team

Swedish organization once shined and had glory due to their CS team. The attempt to once again achieve it failed.

EYEBALLERS announced their new CS division September 1, during WonderBase in Borås, Sweden. The team should bring back the glory EYEBALLERS had in 2004 with the prestigious team.

Expectations in this case got set way too high as the team no longer remains with EYEBALLERS. Failing to live up to their expectations and delivering bad results, force the team and EYEBALLERS to part ways.

In the official press release EYEBALLERS states:

"Eyeballers Gaming announce today that our EYE CS 1.6 Male Team leaves the Eyeballers organization. This due to lack of good results and that the players wanted to move on to other gaming related projects/teams.

The decision was mutual between the players and the organization and we wish each one of them the very best of luck in their future carrier in eSports.

Eyeballers will continue with their EYE COD4 and EYE ET:QW team and will as the opportunities and good teams pop up; expand as a multigaming organization."

The team changed out several players during their time in EYEBALLERS, the team parting ways with EYEBALLERS consisted of:

Fredrik "JAEGARN" Andersson
Niklas "nikolaus" Johansson
Ruben "get" Helberg
Björn "threat" Pers
Rasmus "Gux" Ståhl

Will EYEBALLERS pick up a new CS division during 2008? Where will these five guys seek towards, to get back into the CS scene? We will be following both parts up close.

dammit, so many organizations cut away their cs 1.6 team :/ i'm not saying cs will die because of that, but it's really not good :/

They didnt perform. Perhaps it is really good for the scene. I guess 1.6 gamers have had it too easy for the last couple of years or well... at least a year.

ok that's another point of view, but you're probably right.. EDIT: i'm just wondering, IS there so much changing and happening in the cs1.6 scene atm, or is it normal? (didn't follow the news some weeks, few time on computer :/)

It all comes in periods. There isnt much going on right now so the players change around untill they find a lineup they trust can have success. Then as the big events comes closers the transfer market close and after the event when some teams failed they split up and we have this chaos again :)

I really think they had potential, I mean all those players are/were pretty sick. Hope we will see them do well.

EYEBALLERS, will always be in my memory as the victorious CS team back in the days. The team parting ways with EYEBALLERS now, really never had a chance to deliver those great results as they could have hoped for.
