Teams drawn for GO4Balkan charity

Teams for the Go4Balkan charity tournament have been drawn yesterday at Inferno Online, and the draw was recorded on video for everyone to see. NiPTV will be the official stream and more prizes for those who donate have been added.

With just one day left until the all-star charity tournament Go4Balkan begins, it is time to reveal the lineups for the four teams.

It was a semi-random draw that had one rule – that the players from the same organization cannot be in the same team, and this is how it went:

In the first semi-final at 16:00 #Go4Balkan will play against #Go4Bosnia, while #Go4Croatia vs. #Go4Serbia will follow right after around 18:30 . The grand final is scheduled for 21:00 .

The official stream will be provided by NiPTV, who will be joined by Emil "HeatoN" Christensen during the day. All ad revenue will be added to the donations and streams in other languages will also be available and are welcome to join.

While the main part of this effort will take place tomorrow with the tournament and SteelSeries giveaways for donators, the donation page will stay open for days to come and more prizes are secured for those who take part.

Yegor "markeloff" Markelov's signed jersey and 3 pairs of Gunnar glasses signed by Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund will be handed out on Sunday, followed by more similar items throughout next week and onwards.

The donation page will be officially open tomorrow before the tournament and we will set up a special page here on HLTV.org with instructions how to get involved.

Danish and Ukrainian too. But maybe then will be to much teams and it probably go larger then some real events. I know that Danish teams wanted to participate, and NBK was on list (dont know why he dont play), but its important goodwill of pro players and community, to help and support Serbia, Croatia, and BiH.

DDOS happened before betting so just because it isnt up on CSGOLounge doesnt mean it wont be victim of a DDOS attack.

Yes and no, in circumstances like this the attacks would of happened anyway because they can and some people are sad like that but CSGOLounge/eSport Betting gives more incentive/acts as an excuse (like murderers blaming video games for eg.).

You might keep in mind that a huge percentage of the viewers only watch the game because of betting. I think these games should be featured in CSGL, because it will attract many more viewers :)

In serbia 30+ deaths(175m euros damage), Bosnia 15+ and Croatia 0(for latest update), but there is much ppl without home now or with useless home. Djokovic gave donated money to Serbia and Bosnia from winner prize of Rome tournament and more others sportsmen, the most stupid thing is that we have useless goverments(all 3 countries) and just ppl with good heart and which can help there.

How will the donations help, what company is responsible for the action? It's a great idea but i want to know where my money goes before i throw it out to you and hope it reaches the goal. I'v heard it is hard to help in Balkan and charities have a tough time putting the money to work. I'm not saying that it will not help i'm just worried that it isn't planned out properly.

agree. I think most that followed the scene closly at that time would agree that he did have the highest skill peak ever in cs history that time, when he played for NiP in 2006. Remember SpawN said in an interview with thorin zet was by far the the best player at the time. Then he moved to usa to play source with coL and never came back to that performance again. Also fun with team 1, 3 of the players thats probaly been the best 1.6 player in the world at different times at their careers :)

Currently the gofundme.com website has paused donations because the SteelSeries raffle was in violation of their terms and conditions. They said it will be resumed once that info is removed, but it's late/too early in the USA... If they don't respond soon, a new account will be set up.

Dont know how much Spawn and Zet plays CS:GO. But team 4 has 5 active players - delpan not in a pro team - but often still I guess - as he still streams. So on paper they are the best team imo. But anything can happen..:D

Seriously... An update any time around about now would be nice. I donated some money and I would like to know what the actual fuck it was used for. I've heard that pita has used a large portion of the funds for his own family (obviously there is a big chance its bullshit, but with absolutely no information being given of course rumours will start to circulate). I would 100% not of donated if I knew that would of been the case btw. As HLTV.org was the media outlet that pushed the donation drive I believe you have a obligation and responsibility to the community to actually provide some information, now we are over 2 months down the line. Accountability and Transparency are a lawful requirement when it comes to these sort of things.
