ESEA S17 LAN finals announced

ESEA has published the dates and initial details pertaining to the upcoming global finals for season 17's invite league.

The playoffs, once again being hosted at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Dallas, begin on Friday, November 21st, and will conclude on Sunday, November 23rd.

Eight teams in total will be attending - the top four from each of the European and North American Invite divisions - though which sides exactly, and how much they'll be playing for, have yet to be finalised.

The world's top eight teams will once again decend upon the DoubleTree

In the interim, ESEA are looking into improving the event for its community and fans, including expanding the Invite All-star game, which will kick off the weekend of competition.

The full event schedule is as follows (though times may be subject to change):

Friday, November 21st:

00:00 - All-star Game

01:30 to 06:00 - Upper round 1

Saturday, November 22nd:

17:00 to 00:30 - Playoffs up to the Lower Round Finals

Sunday, November 23rd:

17:00 to 21:00 - Lower Round Finals and Final

they should do something about EU players. prize money arent that good (compared to majors) for EU teams to bootcamp for a week lets say and half of the players are jetlagged. So an extra day would be ok i guess for the players to rest Also why dont they create cool skins a la faceIT to increase their prize pool?

When to come is up to the teams. NA teams have been coming to EU for "OK" prizepools for over a decade. And the esea prize pool is based on number of subs. Although I do agree they should create skins. A white/green ak would look sick.

low prize pools and jetlag huh? I wonder how "jetlag" used to get in the way of SK, NoA, NiP, and a bunch of other top euros from winning all the CPLs with the same prize pool and location as ESEA Finals.
