fnatic have moved up to the top of the ESWC's Group A following a 16-5 thrashing of London Conspiracy on de_inferno.

Fresh off winning the FACEIT Finals, fnatic had to tackle London Conspiracy, one of the strongest teams in the group, in their first match in Paris, and the Swedish team confirmed the reason why they are widely regarded as favourites to scoop the $20,000 prize.

Starting out on the CT side, fnatic picked up the first round of the match after getting some kills from distance in the middle, with Jesper "⁠JW⁠" Wecksell getting three frags to his name.

London Conspiracy found themselves further behind in the scoreboard after losing the first gun rounds, but a triple kill from Håvard "⁠rain⁠" Nygaard in the seventh round finally brought fnatic's winning streak to an end. However, that did little in the way of bothering the Swedish team, who would win the following eight rounds to pick up a 14-1 lead going into the second half.

Three kills from Ruben "⁠RUBINO⁠" Villarroel in the pistol round as CT frustrated fnatic, who attempted a mid push towards B, but in gun play the Swedes were far too hot to handle as they ran out 16-5 winners to secure their first points of the tournament.

Miraaa..with all the consecutive matches being played atm, i really dont think that you should single out and break down a game from 1 particular team. Either you do that for every team in every game or you sums it up like the previous post. Seems a bit biased from a reporter pov if you do. Just my 2 cents

'Thrashing' sounds humiliating for the losing team. Do you want to humiliate them even more just cause they lost? And it is lame to write these articles, either do it for every team or sum it up like everglam said above.
