myXMG lose CS:GO team

myXMG and their CS:GO team have gone their separate ways, Nicolai "HUNDEN" Petersen has confirmed.

The Danish team were last seen in action at DreamHack Winter, where they were sent packing in the group stage following defeats against Virtus.pro and FlipSid3 Tactics.

With just days left before TaKeTV's $10,000 Invitational, which will take place from December 19-21 in Krefeld, Germany, Nicolai "⁠HUNDEN⁠" Petersen's team decided to part company with myXMG after learning that the organisation would not be able to send them to the German event.

Danish team will play for Reason in Germany

For this particular tournament, the former unu.AiN side will play under the wings of Reason Gaming, who maintain a great rapport with some of the players on the team after previously supporting them.

"Parting ways with myXMG after 6 months with them isn’t funny at all. But after talks about the future we couldn’t find a way to handle everything," Petersen told Reason Gaming's website.

"I can speak for the team that we really like the people behind myXMG. The last month was tough for us as a team. We want to thank all the great guys behind myXMG, the great sponsors they had for 2014 same and all the trustful fans, we love you!

"We will play the last tournament of the year, the TaKeTV Invitational, under Reason Gaming.

The (now ex) myXMG team should disband. They are just a bunch of n00bs compared to almost any semi-pro/pro CSGO teams. They never made any impact on the scene with their poor gameplay. I am honestly surprised that myXMG didn't drop them losers earlier before wasting more money sponsoring a bunch of idiots who just like to travel.

Moron. This lineup is a fairly new lineup and have a lot to learn together. How will a team learn and progress if they get dropped every time they do badly? How will a team progress if no one supports them through the early stages?

I saw their lan game vs cw and they did very good eventhough the roundscore didnt show it. They are level below the dreamhack teams, while on this tourney they play againts same tier teams. And if u think today is an upset than ur even more clueless than i thought ( mouz sucks on lan and pkd isnt much better ).
