mousesports have announced that they have added Fatih "gob b" Dayik to their team on a permanent basis.

The Turkish veteran had recently filled in for mousesports at the ESEA Finals and the Acer A-Split Invitational, leading to suggestions he could land a permanent spot on the team at the end of the year.

Such rumours only gathered pace after ALTERNATE, to whom Fatih "⁠gob b⁠" Dayik was contracted, dismissed their team and unveiled a new lineup with three former mTw players.

Just a few hours after Aleksi "⁠allu⁠" Jalli joined 3DMAX, mousesports announced via their Facebook page that gob b has signed a permanent contract with the organisation and that he will lead the team in 2015.

"The stage has been set for a new mousesports CS:GO team, commanded by none other than Hall-of-Famer Fatih "gob b" Dayik, who signed a full time pro gaming contract with mouz," mousesports wrote on Facebook.

"Team presentation coming soon."

Obvious? Before this they had three other standins who chose not to sign with mouz (four if you count nooky last stint). They didn't do this because they lost allu, they did it because no other igl would sign with them as far as we know. Then they had to find someone and that one is now gob_b. And it looks like they are going back to a all German team changing the language back to german, which should leave out allu, making him change to 3DMAX.

You don't know that, for example natu still isn't on par with the rest of the CS GO pros and probably never will be. So far gob has shown zero in CS:GO, strange decision by mouz and can't see them winning anything with this weak ass line up, even with +troubley.

natu was never on the same level as any pro's. He has have the same level throughout his entire career (when compared to others), so you can't really use him for that argument. gob_b's level was far higher individually than natu and I am not saying he is getting back to his old self, but that given time he should progress in a positive manner compared to his current level. He has the higher ceiling and is a bigger talent (not the age related talent..). And no, I can't know that, no one can know how a player developes 100%.

He was not even close to forest and neo in 1.6 times those two guys was dominating world scene they are legends now in both of games expecialy forest. Gob b was realy good back in the days but seeing like neo bairly hanling his status(actualy downfall for 30%) Then oldschoolers like gobb i have zero faith its not like i care but i know what I'm talking about

You are taking two cases out of context. There is nothing that proofs oldschoolers can't get back to a relevant form. Neither Neo or f0rest never stopped playing like gob_b did, so it is not like it is the same. He has to "rebuild" alot more than just a switch from one game to another. Yes time does affect players in a negative way, but he is not as old as the two others and they are still relevant. If Neo were 30% worse than his highest level in 1.6, then he wouldn't be playing at pro or semi pro level now, but his stats might have such a decline, but that is not the same thing either. He is 27.

I'm (born) dutch so I "support" chrisj's team, but where could he go that's better? Dutch CS:GO scene = cod kiddies who accidently started up wrong game, PENTA has solid roster and there are no other german or euro mix teams that are better than mouz (despite them being.. top 20 EU even with + troubley).
