After another upset at ESL ESEA Pro League Finals at the hands of CLG, who advanced over fnatic, we got a hold of Pujan "FNS" Mehta to get his thoughts on the match.

In spite of all expectations, North America caused another upset in Cologne with CLG's narrow win against fnatic on de_mirage.

We interviewed Pujan "⁠FNS⁠" Mehta to get an idea on how his team prepared for this event and fnatic in particular, how the match went from his point of view and the team's new gaming house.

It's "Should we pause and tell them we can hear the casters?" "Nah, they're not gonna do anything about it" which IMO is pretty different. Because the transcript of "there's nothing we can do about it" implies that they are not doing anything, even tho it's clear they COULD (i.e. pause, and tell them) however, what FNS said is that THEY are not gonna do anything about it, implying it's out of the casters/ESL power to find a solution. Pls swedes don't fucking transcript American if you can't fully understand k tnx

well the title says it all, right? "We knew fnatic's tendencies", NA teams have had way more time to prepare for their opponents. they've probably learnt a lot of their strats from watching the best EU teams plus how to counter them. many EU teams have said that they've barely had any time to practice for months. what these NA teams have done is still a big achievement, but i do think that's something to consider.

Tought no1 was gonna say this. It's so annoying, clearly fnatic had a bad game, and NA acts like they did something no one else could, they figured out fnatic. Seriously get off your high horse it was a bo1, everyone can beat anyone in a bo1 you havent figured out shit. So fucking arrogant, they are not even top3 NA. Honestly hope they get out of groups and face fnatic later in a bo3

CLG was ghosting imo, listen casters in that game consistently talking about Olof and if you notice in the match CLG ALWAYS knows where Olof is at all times it doesn't take much to figure out. How is Fnatic going to ghost when the casters are mainly talking about them, what their about to do, where they are on the map etc they barely say anything about CLG the whole way through. FNS is a shit igl those weren't hard counters to Fnatics strats I knew my eyes were be deceived.

did you guys even watch the match? Fnatic's aim sucked ass. Hazed just ran around reflex spraying them while cutler and jdm hit all their shots. It's not like clg posted up exactly where fnatic would go. They played a mobile defence and managed to either win 1v1s or immediately let jdm trade out the frag.
