PGL Season 1 with $110,000
PGL has announced that it will host a global CS:GO league with a $110,000 prize pool and offline finals in Bucharest.
Following the success of the CCS Kick-Off Season, which saw Team SoloMid take home the big prize, PGL returns with a new and improved league featuring 12 teams across two divisions.
The European division will consist of eight teams, while the North American division will have just four. One North American and two European spots will be determined through online qualifiers, while the remaining places are filled through invites.

PGL Season 1 will kick off with two groups of four teams in Europe and one group in North America. The three group winners will automatically qualify for the season finals, from October 2-4 in Bucharest, where they will be joined by a fourth a team, which will be determined by a last-chance tournament with the remaining six European sides.
Below you can find the prize distribution for PGL Season 1 across all stages:
Group Stage - $21,000
Last-Chance tournament - $4,000
Offline finals - $75,000
