Mythic are the first North American team to have qualified for DreamHack Open Stockholm after seeing off Conquest 2-1 (26-21 on de_cache, 7-16 on de_mirage and 16-7 on de_dust2).

The first half of the North American pre-qualifier for the Cluj major came to an end on Friday with Mythic showcasing proving they are still very much a force to be reckoned with after being left without an organisation in July.

The former Luminosity Gaming squad began their campaign by defeating Method 2-1 to set up a semi-final clash against Conquest, who made light work of Games Academy in the last-eight stage.

LeX's Mythic will attend DH Open Stockholm

Mythic opened up the series against the ex-Sponsorless team quite well, taking a 26-21 win on de_cache. Conquest then restored parity following a 16-7 thrashing on de_mirage thanks to great performances from Shahzeb "⁠ShahZaM⁠" Khan and Damian "⁠daps⁠" Steele, only to collapse on de_dust2 as Mythic ran out 16-7 winners.

Yeah lets keep bringin that Devilwalk won major. At that time he played okey not aweful,not good,not supergood. Now when the skill of players getting higher and higher,devilwalk have been playing on same level or little above what he played 2 years ago. And there should be no excuse "but he is IGL". Just look at other IGLs Happy,Karrigan,Zeus, Ex6TenZ or Pronax. None of them play as poor because of the IGL. Sure they are not Top Fraggers but they have solid stats around 0.90-1.00 rating.

Well if this is true then i dont see any point of having Devilwalk on team. Support player who is supporting bad team should be kicked from team. Maybe they like him in RL or maybe he is Pyth boyfriend who knows. One thing is know for sure that he is not in the team because of his performance. And even if they just like him in RL there should be border between "job" and "friend". Or maybe he need to get his ass and work on his aim like playing more dm and less streaming?

Its all the players we didn't want or need mate. Pyth went to NA because he didn't get any new offers from european teams after his former team disbanded. Players from the EU scene seems to think he is toxic as far as i can tell. ¨ DW was a coach the last year or so and shouldn't be playing.

I would assume so - since they won! =D Dont let my "fan of devilwalk" be something u flame me cus of my post. :( My point is just: Players like devilkwalk (among many others) don't really frag good even though the win games. So my guess is that they help in a way or another since otherwise they wouldn't be on the team! :)

CS is not only about stats. Stats can explain some things, but most of how a player performs and what he brings to a team can't be seen in stats. That's why you see so many teams keeping players who are inferior to the average skill of the roster: it means they bring something valuable to the team which is not fragging power. And that's also why you see teams kicking players who're beasts of skill: it's because being a good teammate is more important than being a good fragger. But of course if you consider CS as a simple point and shoot game, I'm afraid you won't even bother trying to understand this.

tbh no one really knows what the deal is... maybe he slept on his arm wrong the day before. When I do shoulder day that day and next 2 days on CS i can definitely feel a tiredness and not aiming as well from my shoulder going through growth. CS is a very high skill curve compared to other games where being tired and other things aren't going to effect your gameplay nearly as much. DW makes money playing CS:GO... you all spend hours playing after u go to ur shit job (as well as me).
