The 2008 European Nations Champions finals have found its end with Sweden taking home the gold in front of Germany.
Last time we updated from ENC 2008 finals, Denmark and Germany would play for whom to face Sweden in the overall final. Denmark should once again find themselves in a match going into overtime. Germany could send the Danes home with a victory of 21:17. The Danes hereby finish third at the ENC 2008 finals.
Germany would then have another shoot at Sweden, this time to fight out who would pocket the gold medals and the 15.000€ going to the winning team.
The match would be played nuke. Sweden got to start as CT, and what a CT side they managed to set up. Sweden had the bomb-spots locked and judging on the result, Germany had a really hard time as T. Sweden took first half 13:2. Taking the pistol-round and the following eco by Germany, Sweden had a 15:2 lead. But from this point on, Germany got back into the match, round by round the Germans caught up on the Swedes. With the score 15:13, Sweden had the for once a successful round, and the Blue and Yellow could raise their arms with a 16:13 win versus Germany.
