REASTEN replaces DaY in BX3
Gearing up for the new year, BX3 have swapped Jon Thomas "DaY" Rudstrøm for Kenneth" REASTEN" Kristiansen.
The Norwegian team recently attended ASUS ROG Nordic Challenge in Helsinki, Finland, coming in at a disappointing 5-8th place. Shortly thereafter, the decision to part ways with Rudstrøm and look for a replacement was reached.
HLTV.org understands that Kenneth "REASTEN" Kristiansen, who has not had much going on since the Sententia Mortis project with players such as Morten "COLON" Johansen and George "hudzG" Hoskins went belly up, was the team's first pick.
"Finally I have found myself a home in CS:GO. After some failed projects and instability, I have found a team that I think can do massive damage in the Counter-Strike scene. There is a lot of potential in this team, so our future looks really bright, says REASTEN.
We have already qualified for the ESL Nordic finals in late December and the Game Show group stage, so I am stoked to see where we can bring this team. As with everyone else, our goal is to qualify for a major, but we are fully aware of how much time we need to invest in order to make that happen, and we will do everything in our power to make it so, starting in Stockholm."
Chairman of the board at BX3, Stein Willmann, is also very pleased with the newest addition to the organization's Counter-Strike team, expecting the move to "yield fruits in the immediate and foreseeable future."
"The club is happy to finally be able to present a missing piece to our Counter-Strike lineup. With the addition of Kenneth "REASTEN" Kristiansen, we get a solid and motivated performer who has previously been with the club, however under different circumstances," he says.
"We believe this move is a step in the right direction, and will yield fruits in the immediate and forseeable future. Exciting times area head, and we are eager to begin the preparations for 2016."
The team's first real appearance with REASTEN aboard will come during the ESL Nordic finals in Stockholm, Sweden between 19th and 20th of December.
BX3 has the following lineup:
Anders "aNdz" Kjær
Christian "moen" Moen
Kristian "KORN" Hokland
Adam "PAINT" Fjellum
Kenneth "REASTEN" Kristiansen
