Immunity sign zewsy, MoeycQ

Team Immunity have finalised their lineup with the additions of Mohammed "MoeycQ" Tizani and Ryan "zewsy" Palmer, the organisation announced on Facebook.

The Australian team had widely been expected to undergo a roster overhaul after failing to qualify for the Asia Minor Championship following a 1-2 defeat against Chiefs in the grand final of the Oceanic qualifier.

After losing Karlo "⁠USTILO⁠" Pivac to Renegades earlier in the month, Immunity have now announced that longtime member Iain "⁠SnypeR⁠" Turner has stepped down from the active lineup to take up a position as coach and manager of the team. The ingame leader role will be taken by James "⁠James⁠" Quinn, who will be backed up by Chris "⁠emagine⁠" Rowlands.

To fill the gaps, Immunity turned to two of the most talented players in the region: Ryan "⁠zewsy⁠" Palmer, who recently played for Chiefs at the Asia Minor, and Mohammed "⁠MoeycQ⁠" Tizani, who was part of Vox Eminor's squad. The duo have been acquired by Immunity from their respective teams for undisclosed fees.

"With the array of experience, consistency, talent and newly acquired firepower I am confident we can increase our world ranking and ascend to new heights," Quinn said.

"Everyone in the team is excited to be working with Ryan & Mohammed and we look forward to showing everyone what we can do as a team."

Immunity will make their first offline appearance with the new roster at the Counter Pit League S2 Finals, which will take place from March 17-18 in Split, Croatia.

The team's lineup is now the following:

ya the article said that. I remember snyper as being one of the top AUS players from Katowice last year maybe. I've seen him make sick plays, thats why its a bummer. Stop making NA look like burgers

Eh, havnt followed the Aus scene in ages, but my gut tells me there would have been better players to get over moey. Zewsy, yeah ok decent pickup dudes young, probably keen and seemed to do well overseas. Granted it was a small sample size and against "weak" teams.
