Epiphany Bolt release team

The Epiphany Bolt team were commonly seen competing among the second-to-third tier of European Counter-Strike events, with results such as a fourth place finish at the RGN European Open II and a third place at the AlienTech European Cup II.

The team, whose core were previously known as KappaKappa before being signed by Epiphany in late September 2015, had their first big offline break at Assembly Winter 2016 where they ultimately finished 5-6th place after losing their group decider match to LDLC White.

It has now been revealed by the organisation that they have parted ways with the players, and the alluded to "roster instability" includes the fact that the players have reportedly decided to also part ways with Emil "⁠hiffer⁠" Ervolder, who himself was signed only in late December 2015.

Epiphany owner Kyle Adkins released the following statement on the split:

"It comes with a very heavy heart that I have to bring the news that effective immediately our Counter Strike Global Offensive team is being released from their contracts and our organisation. We believe that they no longer fit into our plans for our organization and are best suited to be involved with another organisation. It was a great run with the team and I viewed them as family and it saddens me that we will be parting ways."

In addition, it is mentioned that Epiphany Bolt will follow the relatively novel path of receiving applications for their next team.
