zende joins Torpedo

Torpedo Gaming have announced the permanent addition of Erik "zende" Sundeqvist to their Counter-Strike team.

The Swedish team were recently seen in action at the Counter Pit League Season 2 Finals, in Split, where they were eliminated in the opening round following a 0-2 defeat against Astralis - who would go on to finish in second place.

Erik "⁠zende⁠" Sundeqvist, who will step into the shoes of Mattias "⁠malle⁠" Lindberg, joins Torpedo on a permanent basis after acting as a stand-in for the team in online matches in recent days.


zende joins Torpedo 

The 21-year-old was on the lookout for a new team to represent following the disbandment of DenDD, with whom he had won 99Damage Masters #3 and attended the European Minor Championship. 

"When DenDD split up I looked around for a new team and when I got the chance to play with the Torpedo guys I was really excited." he told HLTV.org.

"They are talented and have really good thoughts about the game, which I think will make us a team to look out for this year."

zende is currently playing his first official match for Torpedo, against ALTERNATE aTTaX, in the second group stage of Operation:Kinguin #2.
