SK to SL I-League Invitational finals

SK Gaming have qualified for the SL I-League Invitational Finals after defeating CSGL 2-0 in the third-place decider of the online qualifiers.

With FlipSid3 Tactics and HellRaisers already through to the SL I-League Invitational Finals, a third European spot in Kiev was contested by the two group runners-up, SK Gaming and CSGL, in a best-of-three clash.

Still recovering from hip surgery, Michael "⁠Friis⁠" Jørgensen sat out the match and was replaced by Casper "⁠cadiaN⁠" Møller, who will be filling in for SK this weekend at the European Minor Championship.

SK qualify for event in Kiev

The 20-year-old turned out to be the MVP of the match as he put in a 1.50 rating to power SK to beat CSGL on two maps, with a 16-5 demolition job on Mirage preceding a 16-13 win on Cobblestone.

Contacted by HLTV.org, a source within the Danish team stated that Friis will be the team's fifth player at the offline event, which will take place from May 19-22 at the Olimpiyskiy Football, in Kiev.
