In another interview from ESL Pro League Season 3 Finals, Richard "shox" Papillon talks about defeating Luminosity, OpTic and finally fnatic on G2's way to the grand final. We also questioned him about the World Esports Association (WESA).

G2 have reached their first grand final since joining up with the Spanish organization at ESL Pro League Season 3 Finals following victories over Luminosity and OpTic in the group stage, and fnatic in the semi-finals.

Richard "⁠shox⁠" Papillon touched on all of G2's results at the event and a new approach to his leadership, as well as the upcoming grand final with the Brazilians. He also commented on joining WESA before closing out the interview with a message to both fans and non-believers alike.

It's ok striker, your interview was pretty good, i was wondering if you pay attention to what the other person is telling you or if you are already thinking what the next question would be?It seems to me that you would easily forget the next question if you pay too much attention.

If I notice something that I could follow up on, I do it, but I don't go looking for something additional to ask. So yes, I obviously pay attention, I just don't put extra focus on it. I feel like there's a reason you're asking this.

Ex6TenZ is a good IGL, that's a fact. He wasn't kicked because he was a bad IGL, he was kicked because things don't obviously very work well with him for whatever reason. G2 has another face, a good face now, but it's not necessary due to the fact they kicked Ex6TenZ but due to the fact they changed a player and change the essence of the team that was a bad essence. (I'm pretty sure LDLC will have a very decent team with Ex6 as well for the same reason, players have just to match with others). This community still doesn't understand it's a teamgame and always think "roster and names" but for me, G2 is successful today thanks to a new chemistry and a new style, not a roster change with a "-individual1 +individual2" situation.
