Astralis ease past FaZe; top Group A
Astralis are through to the last-four stage at the ECS Season 2 Finals after easing past FaZe 16-3 on Dust2.
The first spot in the ECS semi-finals was contested by Astralis and FaZe, two of Europe's most in-form teams, and it ended up being a clean sweep, rather than an entertaining match like many had predicted.
The first half was lopsided in favour of Astralis, who got out to a quick 7-0 lead on the CT side. After calling a tactical pause, FaZe finally got a round on the board, courtesy of a stunning 1v4 clutch by Philip "aizy" Aistrup, but the Danes rallied back right after and further enlarged their lead.

Astralis were far too hot for FaZe to handle
Down 1-10, FaZe got some much-needed breathing room as they picked up two rounds in a row, but Astralis still managed to close out the half with a commanding 12-3 lead.
Astralis heaped more misery on their opponents, winning the pistol round with a flawless execute and following it up with three more rounds to put the game to bed and move on to the semi-finals in Anaheim.
