dignitas have announced that their female CS:GO roster is now complete following the addition of Kiara "Milk" Makua.

The 22-year-old will fill the void left by Catherine "⁠cath⁠" Leroux, who was released by the team earlier this week as they sought a "new direction and a fresh look".

EMUHLEET's dignitas back to a five-woman roster

Kiara "⁠m1lky⁠" Makua played for CLG Red at this year's Intel Challenge Katowice, helping the team to place third-fourth, with their tournament run being cut short precisely by Dignitas fe.

"We're so excited to have milk join our team because she has shown enormous dedication and passion to improve," team member Emmalee "⁠EMUHLEET⁠" Garrido told dignitas' website.

"We believe that adding milk to our team gives us a strong, fresh start to continue our process of reaching our goals as a team.

"Not only were we impressed by her skill, but her positive attitude creates a motivational environment for us to succeed."

m1lky has already joined Dignitas fe's roster for ESEA Intermediate, in which the team currently holds a 5-8 record. The new player will make her LAN debut for the team at the next Fragadelphia event.

no offense to them but i just don't get how these girls are getting full time salaries along with xp3 for being in esea intermidiate , dignitas could make an academy team and sign a male team who have more potetional ,

Yeah it is, they represent the same top% that guys do. If you weren't an unpopular geek with poor social skills, you'd know that girls don't get the same feedback while playing computer games, and are massively mistreated within the genre. For you it was easy because it's common for boys to enjoy technology and waste time on computers, and therefore people don't speak about it the same way or refuse you opportunities the same way.

Female pro's get paid to stay at their trash level and barely do anything to improve upon it. The top of the female scene hasn't improved in ages, they are still just as bad as years ago. Which is why they won't get anywhere if they were to compete in 'male' tournaments. It has nothing to do with opportunities but with mindset and drive.

I think that way they get access to more sponsors. Who might sponsor the org because of a female team which will benefit the main team. From a business perspective it makes sense.

i don't rly see orgs getting sponsors by getting female teams , atleast get female teams with known players (famous streamers) and you might get sponsors but when u have no namers and on top of that they are girls , you are not getting sponsors

It's common knowledge the real wage gap isn't men getting paid more than women, it's the fact that women can get paid as much as men for playing at a far lower level of CS.
