CB EuroCup XIX reach playoffs

It has been a long group play with a ton of matches moved, rescheduled and won on forfeit, but now the ClanBase Eurocup reach the playoffs, and things are about to get serious.

This years Eurocup features no prizes, which means none of the normal top teams are attending, there are however a lot of up and coming teams that might be worth keeping an eye on. Also ClanBase has announced that there will be fixed play days, and no wildcards or possibility for rescheduling, making it much easier to actually follow the event.

The match ups for the first round are:

Ravens vs SeVeN
wooSai vs neXtplease!
You Don't Know Me vs ESC-Gaming
quaint vs TBH.MSI
SoA vs TCM
ARTLEZ vs Esport-Eu
mystical Lambda vs LLL
fu.sk vs Excello

The format for the playoffs is best of three single elimination, checkout the entire bracket for an overview of the match ups.

Like that part about fixed play days, otherwise there are always postponed matches and some teams don't show up and so on.... good initiative. Otherwise it's sad two German teams will face eachother in the first playoff round, since both could come far!

I guess it's too hard to create fixed schedule with no moving matches around when there are 48 teams, and a lot more leagues going on. They all clash, so moving is inevitable I think. Also, every team has 1 wildcard, so it seems too much rescheduling when at least half of them use it in groupstage.

Yeah maybe, but I'm used to for example the Swedish KoTH where like the last 10 matches has been postponed at least one time each. :) Maybe you've planned to come home after practice and watch some decent match and you see it's postponed because one of the players had to take his dog for a walk and couldn't do it later because some TV-show was on..

emL vs KICK was a bad perf for emL or a good perf for KICK :). But it's one match. Imo i saw the match and KICK played very well. If i follow your logic i would say mousesports << ESC because they lose one match 2-16... Maybe emL will not win this tournament but say that is the weakest team is a little bit mind-blowing. If you don't like emL or french people it's your right but stop saying unreal things

i'm joking when i explain the logic with emL and mouz before...-_- I never say emL play good atm. I just say they have the level atm to beat all team in THIS tournament. you say that emL is the weakest team and it's absolutely wrong it's a fact. Now if you answer me to say that i'm stupid it's a really poor minded. If you need word like that to think you're right it's sad ;)

AG in the same tournament won 2-1 DTS with difficulties and be crashed by emL next turn. and emL won Kerchnet 24-6 if you look better the link ;)
