dimasick signs for Gambit

After four months on the AVANGAR bench, Dmitry "⁠dimasick⁠" Matvienko has joined Gambit, the Russian organisation has announced.

The 22-year-old Kazakhstani was moved to the bench in AVANGAR in July, as the team brought in Bektiyar "⁠fitch⁠" Bahytov to take his place after the team failed to reached the FACEIT Major in London.

dimasick has been rumoured to join Gambit since October, his name coming up alongside Vadim "⁠Flarich⁠" Karetin as potential new players in the CIS squad. So far, no news have come out about the latter, but in the Twitter post announcing the signing of dimasick, Gambit revealed that the final member of the squad will be 'presented shortly'.

In recent months, Gambit have transfer listed several players, as Dauren "⁠AdreN⁠" Kystaubayev, Abay "⁠HObbit⁠" Khassenov, and Denis "⁠seized⁠" Kostin were moved to inactive positions, with the latter being cut from the team completely last week. The CIS side will have to find their fifth player soon, as they'll be participating in the closed qualifier for the CIS Minor leading up to the Katowice 2019 Major in just eleven days.

With dimasick entering the lineup, Gambit now have the following players:

Hello, dear gentlemen. I'm glad to see dimasick in Gambit but I'm nor fond of the idea of Ax1le/Flarich joining. The reason of their continuous losses is that GAMBIT HAS NO A GOOD IGL. B1ad3 said that they need a captain/igl (in this context I will mix these words). There're 2 captains available: the best variant-Starix, and the least famous captain but with a huge experience-Little(he's an old cs 1.6 player and IGL, as far as I know he was a champion in one of the WCG tournaments in cs 1.6). If GMB can't acquire one of them, its authorities can think of a young captain who had been kicked from Winstrike-Waterfallz. I'm sure he has a lot of motivation. B1ad3 can bring up a new strong IGL. Any thoughts? But without cyberbullying.
