WICKED will meet DTS.chatrix, whereas mousesports will take on DELTA in the semi-finals of GameGune 2009.

The Polish team eased past Esport-Eu 16-4 on de_dust2, but will now have a much bigger task, having to dispose of DTS,chatrix.

DTS were made to work hard to overcome Virtus.pro, whom they had lost to in the final of Arbalet Cup just a week ago.

After an 11-4 score in the first-half in favour of DTS, Virtus.pro responded in the second period, and it looked close to going on overtime, but the Ukrainians managed a 16-12 win to avenge themselves.

Elsewhere, mousesports and Ledpc produced an intense clash, with the home side winning the first half 8-7. But in the second period mouz appeared stronger, taking the necessary nine rounds to win the match.

The last game of the quarter-finals put Unibet against DELTA, two of the biggest surprises of the tournament. This would be the first match of the tournament to go to overtime, where DELTA's experienced proved to be vital as they won 19-16 to become the second Polish team in the semi-finals.

The semi-finals of the tournament are scheduled for tomorrow, at 11.00 (CET time).
