Shara joins Windigo Academy

Oleksandr "⁠Shara⁠" Hordieyev has joined Windigo Academy, it has been announced.

The addition of the 26-year-old to the roster marks the benching of Aleksandr "⁠zendik⁠" Tul, an active component of the Windigo Academy starting roster since September 2018. Additionally, Shara will be assuming the in-game leader role, taking over from Alexandr "⁠Psycho⁠" Zlobin.

Shara will assume lead of the Windigo Academy roster

Previously of spray'n'pray and FlipSid3, Shara brings much-needed experience to the young squad. While with the latter team, he participated at two Major events, MLG Columbus 2016 and ESL One Cologne 2016, helping the team to a quarter-final run at the German event before they lost to eventual champions SK.

"I am very glad to be back in the ranks!," Shara said. "Thank you, Windigo Gaming, for the opportunity to do my thing again.

"The sky's the limit for us, and I will go out of my way so that the results are not long in coming. Follow Windigo Academy and cheer for us!"
