The Hong Kong qualifier for World Cyber Games 2009 took place this weekend, seeing RS-Gaming qualify for the Grand Finals.

The qualifier really saw just one strong team, as we learned extremeplayers would not be attending the event. This left the qualifier with one favorite to win it all, being RS-Gaming, who lately won against wNv.gm in CCSL.

The qualifier concluded as RS-Gaming took a 2-0 (16-8 on train, 16:6 on inferno) victory against reactionFragz in the final, which secured them the only spot granted to Hong Kong, for World Cyber Games 2009.
