Extreme Masters IV QR1 finalized

Qualification Round 1 for the European Championship in Extreme Masters IV ended this evening, seeing eighteen teams advancing to Qualification Round 2.

The two very last matches of QR1 were played tonight, where Amazing Gaming and Ledpc secured the two last spots to QR2. The qualification matches was played during last and this week.

Eighteen teams played their way through to QR2, where just one best-of-three map match will determine who will advance to the European Championship and who will have to try their luck again next season. Following teams advanced from QR1:

good for D4, but they lost 1 player, and mayers seems to be unable to play, so it ruins their chances to win :(

If SK get an unfortunate draw, say Amazing Gaming, Kerchnet or mystical lambda i could see them going home very early in this tournament. Obviously theyr an experienced side but im left wondering how well things are with the lack of a full team being announced yet

No, teams have from 25th September until 4th October to play the matches. According to ESL site most matches are planned for 30th September though this may vary in the end, f.e. SK feature on their site that their match will be played on 27th.

No :) You have two groups there, first one is with teams from QR1 (well they win in QR1 now are in QR2), second is from QR2 (they didnt play any match, this will be first in iem qual). They will play QR1 vs QR2, so in any case pincho cant play versus anyone from first group (list - whatever).
