EM Europe qualifiers over

The qualifying process for the Extreme Masters European Championship has come to an end and we have finally found the last 18 teams.

The second and last qualifying round determined which 18 teams will join the roster for the fourth season of the Extreme Masters European Champions.

Germany is the most represented country in the competition, with n!faculty, ydk.me and mystical Lambda joining Alternate and mousesports from the qualifiers. Denmark, Sweden, Ukraine and France are the countries that follow, each of which will have four teams.

It is unknown when the group draw will be made, but HLTV.org knows it will take place some time this week, and it will be broadcasted live on ESL TV.

The 36 teams that will compete in the Extreme Masters European Championship are the following:

That will be a great season, I only miss Ledpc and some Russian teams (Virtus.pro, tp.uSports, forZe) from the groupstage, and of course it would have been great if Hungary could have gained a spot there. Anyway as I said, it will be a very nice season, with some close matchups (and probably some upsets) there.

www.hltv.org/?pageid=35&newsid=2931 I only hit 17 out of 18 matches (#75). Looks I'm not so perfect anymore, too old for this :'( Germany, Denmark and France have 4 teams each. Interesting...Also nice to see some smaller teams coming trough. GL to them and GL to all. May the best win.

Germany has 5 teams, as stated in the news: Mystical Lambda, Alternate, Mousesports, You Don't Know Me and n!faculty. That's interesting, actually. Judging by the amount of good teams, one would think Sweden would have more teams than any other country.

Yea, I missed one :) Well, don't like ESL anyway, they created it in that way so their teams have advantage via esl pro series (5 slots). It also looks very unprofessional making the quals randomly drawn. That's why we have some relatively weaker teams in groupstage while some top teams are out.

Well, Sweden had 5 teams, but wooSai lost against n!faculty in the second qual round. Really bad of ESL by drawing the matches, I mean wooSai and faculty were like top5 teams in qual round 2. Speaking of which, they even had the bad luck playing against DSRack in the 1st round which also was a topb 5 team in qual round 1.

Will be tough... Honestly, by judging on recent performances I would not be surprised if Sweden had 3-4 teams in the Semi finals. The only question mark there is whether h2k will be successful in filling the shoes of Khrystal and Face or not.
