DreamHack Open Fall, IEM New York CIS Fantasy games live

The Fantasy games for the two Regional Major Ranking events are now live, with skins available for the best-performing users.

IEM New York CIS will commence on October 13 and run across two match weeks, with DreamHack Open Fall set to kick off two days later with a GSL group stage. The two competitions will reach their end in tandem on October 25, where 2500 RMR points will be up for grabs for both winners.

The European tournament boasts a $115,000 prize pool as well as a spot at the IEM Global Challenge for the first-placed team, scheduled to take place on LAN in December.

A hefty investment will be needed to obtain star player s1mple ($257,000)

With prizes available in both events provided by our partner CS.money, users will have two chances to test their team-building abilities by selecting the players they believe will perform at the top of their game. The skin prizes for each tournament can be found below:

DreamHack Open Fall Fantasy prizes:

IEM New York CIS Fantasy prizes:

The winners of the official Fantasy leagues will be contacted via the email provided in their HLTV profile, and are required to respond to the email within a month to be eligible to receive their prizes.

idiot.... you get budget of 1,000,000 and have to get a mix of expensive and cheaper players. Otherwise people would just stack the best players....

so? half of those best players shit their pants , some average players overperform , like kjaeyrbye for example most expensive players wouldnt win ever, but its pretty shitty u cant even get them lol

Actually, HLTV fucked up this game, because in the past you didn't started with 1mi, you started with the AVERAGE value of the tournament (the value all players summed, divided by the number of players attending, x5)... so in the past you would get a FAIR value, you could literally mix good and bad players. Nowadays you will ALWAYS get the same value (1mi) even if the average would be 1.2mi for example.
