The 23-year-old rifler will miss the $330,000 online competition to take time off for his wedding.

BIG have announced that Josef "⁠faveN⁠" Baumann will be unable to compete at Brazy Party, an online tournament running from April 26-May 3, as he will be taking time off to celebrate his wedding.

Fatih "⁠gob b⁠" Dayik's side have in turn called upon David "⁠prosus⁠" Hesse, from the academy squad, to take over faveN's spot in the starting five for the duration of the online event.

faveN's absence from Brazy Party will likely be felt by the Germans, as he was their second-best player during the squad's recent 5-6th place run at IEM Rio. He put up a 1.08 rating during his time in Brazil, narrowly behind Karim "⁠Krimbo⁠" Moussa's 1.10-rated performance.

prosus will briefly reunite with his former teammates, Krimbo, Nils "⁠k1to⁠" Gruhne and Marcel "⁠hyped⁠" Köhn, who all received permanent spots on the main team over the past year.

The 20-year-old German has sported a middle-of-the-pack 1.05 rating across 489 maps during his team with the developmental lineup, but will relish in being gifted an opportunity to test his mettle amongst some of Europe's best teams — he has played just 28 maps against top-30 opposition in his career.

BIG have been seeded into Group B of the online tournament and will enter the server as the group's highest-rated team in their opening match against Marcelo "⁠coldzera⁠" David's 00NATION on Wednesday. The rest of the group is made up of the Major-bound Into the Breach and paiN.
