HEROIC beat Eternal Fire to go 3-0 in Copenhagen
kyxsan's charges are through to the Elimination Stage.

HEROIC are the first team to make it out of PGL Major Copenhagen's Opening Stage after a 2-0 victory over Eternal Fire.
The international team came back from three map points down to win a highly entertaining Vertigo game in which both sides had huge streaks. That trend continued on the second map, Mirage, where Eternal Fire had a 7-0 lead after a flying start before running out of gas as HEROIC picked up the map with a flawless 13-round streak.
"It's really good, going through without problems or having to play 2-1 or 2-2 games," René "TeSeS" Madsen said after the match. "We couldn't do anything more than this. It's a perfect world right now."

It was a bit of a chaotic start to the series as Eternal Fire picked up an early lead on Vertigo after back-to-back smoke defuses. It wouldn't last, however, as HEROIC took control of proceedings after a force-buy victory, turning that into a nine-round streak during which the Turkish team could barely keep up the pace.
Ali "Wicadia" Haydar Yalçın put Eternal Fire back on the scoreboard with a clever 1v2 clutch in the ensuing pistol round, keeping his team's comeback hopes alive. The Turkish side rode that momentum to a massive nine-round streak of their own, but they were unable to deal the finishing blow as HEROIC secured the last three rounds of regulation to force overtime.
Eternal Fire once had a bright start to overtime as they picked up two rounds on the offense, but HEROIC went one better and won three all three rounds as T with great fragging by Nico "nicoodoz" Tamjidi and TeSeS.
Eternal Fire came into Mirage with guns blazing as they stormed to a 7-0 lead on the CT side. But all it took for the game to be flipped on its head was HEROIC winning one round. The Turkish team completely fell apart as Damjan "kyxsan" Stoilkovski's charges went on a dominant 13-0 run to wrap up the series.
