Bravado to move to Europe in 'Project Destiny 2.0'
The South African team will be moving to Europe to compete for the next two years.

Bravado are set to relocate their South African Counter-Strike squad to Belgrade, Serbia until mid-2026 to train and compete in Europe.
Called Project Destiny 2.0, the initiative is similar to when the organization relocated the lineup featuring the likes of Johnny "JT" Theodosiou and Tiaan "T.c" Coertzen to compete in the United States in 2018.
Several objectives have been set by Bravado ahead of their move to Serbia, which will happen in May. These include reaching and maintaining a top 30 HLTV ranking and qualifying for a Major.
The original Project Destiny was a success, seeing Bravado hit a peak ranking of No. 21 in the world and claim second place at DreamHack Open Winter 2018, during which they beat Aleksi "Aleksib" Virolainen's ENCE and Richard "shox" Papillon's G2. Three members of the original project would go on to compete for top organizations, with JT and T.c now having peaked as high as No. 5 in the world ranking with Complexity.

The second iteration of the project comes after Bravado struggled to make headway in the international scene in recent times. The team exited ESL Challenger Katowice mid-way through last year in last place, and recently failed to qualify for the PGL Major Copenhagen Asia RMR after exiting the Middle East closed qualifier with a single map victory to their name.
"I really believe that they're going to turn heads," says Andreas "cent" Hadjipaschali, co-founder of Bravado. "We had spent a lot of money during Project Destiny. We knew that we wanted to spend this money on these players that we knew had what it took. Fast forwarding to today, if I didn't feel the same now as I did back then, we would never have chosen to make this investment into Project Destiny 2.0."
Bravado's team captain Johnathan "Doru" Fox gave some insight into how the players are feeling about the move. "I kind of see this as a one-shot opportunity to follow my passion for Counter-Strike," he began. "Alongside this group of guys, my teammates, who I can genuinely say are some of my nearest and dearest friends, it's an absolute no-brainer for all of us."

The lineup that will be travelling to Europe is currently one member short as AWPer Valentin "poizon" Vasilev, who played for the team during their ill-fated attempts to qualify for PGL Major Copenhagen, was only brought in as a short-term solution to aid the team during the Major cycle.
