NAVI Javelins' success this year promised a clash for the women's throne between them and Imperial, but that will not transpire.

The playoffs stage of the ESL Impact League Season 5 Finals will not feature one of the two biggest favorites of the tournament.

NAVI Javelins missed out on a place in the bracket stage after they opened the tournament with a best-of-one loss to Let Her Cook and later came on the short end of a nail-biting affair against Fluxo Demons.

In the matchup against the Brazilian side, the Poles fought hard through two overtime maps and looked set to grab the second playoffs spot in Group B, only to squander an 11-3 lead on the Inferno decider.
