Four years since pro100 disbanded, Zeus is leading a new esports project for five Ukrainian youngsters.

Zeus was Natus Vincere's captain from 2009-2016, and 2017-2019

Danylo "⁠Zeus⁠" Teslenko has returned to Counter-Strike as the coach of SKYFURY, a new Ukrainian organization that has signed the former ROSOMAHA roster.

The legendary Natus Vincere tactician retired in 2019, when he handed NAVI's captaincy over to Kirill "⁠Boombl4⁠" Mikhailov.

His main focus then turned to pro100, a 1.6 organization Zeus relaunched in 2017 that featured players like Mareks "⁠YEKINDAR⁠" Gaļinskis, Georgi "⁠WorldEdit⁠" Yaskin, and Aleksei "⁠NickelBack⁠" Trofimov only for the project to disband in 2020. Since then, the 36-year-old has not been as directly involved in any esports programs.

That has changed now, with the PGL Krakow 2017 champion leading the SKYFURY project around five young Ukrainian players.

Yuriy "⁠rendY⁠" Halyshyn, a graduate of NAVI Junior, is the most tested with 47 officials under his belt, while the rest of the lineup is even less experienced.

Great leader, underrated IGL (especially by analysts). He was basically tier1 the entire time he was active since 1.6, retired from active play in time without having these years of shit play like some former legends endured

you shouldnt get blinded by nostalgia, he was fragging even worse than karrigan is now, and the gambit major was very much a one-off tourney like the VP(jame) major. he did get some trophies, but he couldnt win a major for s1mple and at one point NaVi with prime s1mple + prime flamie + prime elec were top 15 for a good part of a year under his leadership it was really painful to watch and s1mple had a career very similar to NiKo before boombl4 he probably still is in the top 5 igls alltime, but let’s not kid oueselves, he was dogwater for a while

heh I remember quite well, and like I said zeus was always underrated, case and point the fact you think he was worse than karrigan shows that. s1mple had 1 amazing year without zeus and that was in 2021 after b1t joined, 2018 with zeus was much better than NaVi in 2022-2023 and most of 2017 that was without him. In fact NaVi in 2017 and 2023 with s1mple and without zeus was worse than NaVi in 2015-2016 without s1mple, they literally done fuck all those two years. Maybe if they didn't have Astralis to shit on them back then they might've won a major with s1mple and zeus... Also you gotta take into account that zeus was the 5th spot on the team, not a carry player but an IGL, he didn't have all the power house cores of 2021 NaVi, but he still did better than all other years of NaVi.

NaVi has been dogshit for 2 years before Zeus re-joined and brought them to the top again, ofc it took some time, and even then some players were already "keeping Navi back".

he went alcoholic in years after navi and did some strange shit uploading at his TG, like oBo level strange shit, but hes been hitting the gym recently and I think just overall his mental health got better, so I hope it is so and not only for social media.

He was able to get a vyvanse and adderal prescription and was abusing both during a mental health spiral. It made him suicidal. I think he also had some personal problems going on in his life. Like a family death or a childhood pet or something.

no he aint, he was out of meta for 5 years and although I am not even closely following Zeus I did not see much involvement from him in CS for these years, I hope this isnt some PR move. I genuinely hope he will show me im a restarted hltv yapper and coaches this team into hltv top 50.
