A comfortable victory has secured paiN only their second playoff appearance of the season.
paiN have secured their place in the playoffs of PGL Masters Bucharest thanks to a comfortable 2-0 win over B8, besting the Ukrainian side on Dust2 (13-8) and Mirage (13-10).
The victory was a routine one for paiN, as first Rodrigo "biguzera" Bittencourt and João "snow" Vinicius put up monstrous numbers to ensure the win on Dust2.
A strong defensive half on Mirage set paiN up for a straightforward victory, and although B8 showed a bit of resistance when the sides switched, paiN duly converted once they got their economy in order.
paiN save the best for last
A 3-0 run to the playoffs might seem like plain sailing, but paiN's campaign in Bucharest had been anything but up until this match.
Gentle Mates made paiN work hard for their opening win, taking them to OT on the first map, and the Brazilian side were 10-1 down in the deciding map of their series against GamerLegion, only to mount a mighty comeback.
