RAGE pick up Swedish Housemafia

Dutch side RAGE-Gaming has announced they have enrolled Swedish Housemafia as their newest Counter-Strike addition.

The team, built around the former Meet Your Makers ace Faruk "pita" Pita, had initially been introduced as Begrip's new squad just last month. However, as the team's plan for attending ASUS Summer went down the drain, they pulled out and started looking for another organization.

Among the five, we see three former H2k members, Markus "pronax" Wallsten, Samuel "Zyppe" Martinsson and Danny "pop" Oldenburg, who were all released from the organization for free as a nice gesture to Begrip. Jonathan "lidde" Lidgren, spotted playing for Coldfrag during DreamHack Winter 2009, was introduced as the fifth player.

Retired pro-gamer Marcus "zet" Sundström will however not venture along with his former teammates into the new organization. He was earlier listed as the team's EPS backup player, but never made an appearance with them.

"It feels great to be back in a professional eSports organization again. We hope for a bright future together with Rage-Gaming. With this team, and the organization behind us we are aiming for the top of the counterstrike scene (again). I just want to thank the management and the partners for the trust and thank all the fans out there who are cheering for us", Faruk "pita" Pita is quoted on the organization's website.

RAGE-Gaming now house the following quintet:

Samuel "Zyppe" Martinsson
Danny "pop" Oldenburg

The team is currently competing in the ESL Pro Series Nordic III league, having won their first match versus NP!.

yeah : BARBARR should take over pops spot! :) or lidde havent seen his preformance yet, but i know for sure that pop has not aim in right now :P

yeah i forgot BARBARR is playing for PlayZone so they should sign Delpan instead thats right, but i stand my ground on the thing with pop, hes just not good :P

It all depends on walle. As long as walle keeps playing, things stay the same. The day walle retires, sk will definitely sign Delpan. The problem is the longer they wait, the bigger the chance Delpan will have joined another top team (LIONS, fnatic, ...)

well there are only two big teams... SK need to play more with their new line-up and fnatic just won't change it (which is quite understandable).

ehm, no? Walle is a really important player for the team. He has been playing really good the last matches. He has done a couple of clutches, done a lot of important frags, been a lot better with the awp, been helping robban in a lot of situations, and he is a really important part of the team. And I know Delpan is a really good player, he is just not good for sk.

There might be "better" individual players, but u can not just put everyone together and expect it to work. Most people here think everything is possible, but zneel just started university, barbarr might team up with blomstar etcetc : - )
