IEM Europe draw on ESL TV

The Electronic Sports League has announced that ESL TV will broadcast the group draw for the IEM European Championship.

Now that the qualifying process for the IEM European Championship has come to an end, the 36 participating teams have finally been found.

The teams will be divided into six groups of six teams, with the winner from each group automatically qualifying for the European Championship Finals, while the second and third-placed sides will enter the relegation stage.

Following RAGE-Gaming's victory over Clan Less Plus and Hardwar4u's rematch success over dakarma, Germany and Sweden will be the most represented countries in the draw, with five teams each. Denmark and France come right after, each one with four teams.

I don't know m8, I know that Russians have 150 ping on British servers and Danes have the same vice versa (Since we're right next to you). I'm guessing they will have to find some type of boundaries in the middle, considering the sheer amount of Western and Eastern countries. Have they discussed where the servers will be located?

The location of server for every single match is discussed by both teams to equal the pings.

it really depends where the russians live. if they're from st. petersburg, then they got like ~20 ping on a swedish server located in stockholm, where u guys should have around 15-30 as well.

what didn't you understand? k1ck should have more problem with online matches cuz their internet is just horrible. When playing against an austrian team they had sth like a 130 ping, supposedly on a french server, so if they have to play against russian teams...

i think thats pretty much impossible with all the great teams in attendance.. but thats not necessarily a bad thing, always a good thing when theres exciting matches to watch early.

first 12 teams (from mouz to f2f on list) are seeded top, and there cant be both teams from same country (expect Germany), rest will be seeded as normal, so I dont think there will be any group of death

none of the guys we were playing with were "known". the fact is you got kicked because everyone else knew eachother, no one knew you because you were an IRC randy and when we had a 5th which everyone knew and liked they took priority over you. don't get so mad bro im sure you can find another group of players to play with after begging on irc. oh and cant play cs? you just kicked the mix of guys that we were playing with saying they were cheating lol?
