neWave disbands CS team

Following the departure of Nemanja "k1Ng0r" Bošković to Gamersject, neWave have decided to disband their Counter-Strike division.

The Macedonian-based organization Gamersject had last week raided the neWave squad for their star player, Nemanja "k1Ng0r" Bošković, who was called in to fill the slot left empty by Dime "dreadon" Jovanovich.

While Bošković found new pastures in Gamersject, it has been announced that Gordan "g0g1" Prošić has opted to link up with the Serbian team BGDoNLINE.

In a statement on neWave's website, the team's former captain, Milan "hybaa" Čašić, says it's because of the departures of the above-mentioned two the team has decided to discontinue.

Čašić furthermore adds that he along with Milan "bata" Batinica have decided to retire because of motivational issues, which leaves Sašo "Zero" Mitruševski a free agent.

neWave had the following team:

Gordan "g0g1" Prošić
Milan "bata" Batinica
Sašo "Zero" Mitruševski

He's actually right. Most of these guys had no idea who neWave were. Heck, I have no idea who they were since I don't follow the Serbian scene. All I knew was that they were one of the best teams in the area (questionably) and that they represented us at the WCG. Writing sad is a bit insulting.

hyba is the best igl in Serbia while bata (mali Zen) is an awesome sniper! Both are very old school... Basicly they don't need bootcamp and such stuff, maybe one week to get in shape to be 1st in Serbia and to qualy to wcg and such tournaments, rly sad that serbian scene is so low but they have what it takes to reign in here. :)

they played DHW09 and WCG10 and 08 i think,and they was one of best teams in serbia,makedonija,croatia,bih etc.and they sometimes win entity who was win FG(arcadion,friis,karagan,surnaga...) at wcg :) sry if my eng.is bad :D

Yes, all are (nearly) same, Serbian, Croatian, Bosnian, Montenegrin. Macedonian and Slovenian are a bit different but...it's nearly there :)

Serbian and Croat almost the same, Macedonian is different and closer to Bulgarian but not hard to learn for Balkan speakers.

Well PlayMore wasn`t really best Serbian team lately after departure of Confy and especially Zeus, they lost one very smart and consistent player who steps up when it matters (confy) and top frager together with kingor (zeus). But the fact is that Serbian CS is dying with now just a few active teams (BGD,sMk,iNation and NSB - but without Bobban imo they can`t do real damage, don`t know why he isn`t playing for them anymore). In Serbia there are many very good players but they don`t want to play seriously and practice.

Serbian CS isn't dying, what more amateur cs scene is growing each and every day! In 2000 there were not steam cs players in Serbia but now almost everyone have steam cs... I think that we are just a little bit late for other countries at everything especially in Tactic sense but not in aim...

They did statisctic after THEY kicked bobban,and he was statisticly their worst player.At every tournament they attended,when team leader calls a strat,he is like what m i throwing?!He didnt care about practicing,he had more important things to do,so he was kicked...

If it is a non-Belgrade tournament, and there are not 32 teams participating, almost every time 1st place award is like a ~100E per player, and 2nd place is just to cover trip expenses :) Sad but true (arr by Metallica xDDD)
