Online Kingdom lose CS division

Online Kingdom have issued an announcement stating they have parted ways with their Finnish roster.

The news comes one month after the organization decided to revamp the team following the releases of Kimmo "BASiC" Fagerholm and Hannu "H^N" Pohjalainen.

To mend the voids created by Fagerholm and Pohjalainen, the team brought aboard Aleksi "allu" Jalli and Miikka "dRiim" Toroi, but opted against contracting the two players.

Online Kingdom's announcement states that the decision to release the team from their ranks was taken after conducting a meeting with the organization's chairman and managing director.

To HLTV.org, Joni "Freon" Huumo claims that Online Kingdom "broke too many promises", expressing that they were supposed to attend GameGune 2011, but that the plan was aborted two days before the Spanish event.

"They broke too many promises. First we were gonna go to gamegune, but 2 days before going, we found out we weren't, and then [the general manager] said we would go to ASUS, 100%, and as it turns out, that was also false."

Online Kingdom affirms in the announcement that the team were originally set to attend ASUS Summer, but decided against contracting Jalli and Toroi and released the remaining three.

Online Kingdom had the following:

Jirka "jigetus" Ryhti
Otto "danzer" Dimitrow
Miikka "dRiim" Toroi
Aleksi "allu" Jalli

The team will be competing in the upcoming Intel Extreme Masters 6 Global Challenge Guangzhou qualifier on Sunday, with their future probably depending on their results.

They attended: Copenhagen Games (Xperia PLAY) @ 2011 - the third major event this year This team, which is also known as PlayZone.fi, have attended ESWC and 2 IOL lan tournaments in 2010.

correct me if OK is not finland org, but is there problem with finnish organizations or finnish players? so frequent hiring and realeasing of teams in this country

honestly i think it's both. finnish players probably are somewhat guilty of trusting everybody and the organization is also guilty of having an history of not own up to their word a couple of times already.

Sure there are problems with finnish lineups changing alot, but thats mostly because of the army. In THIS case the problem is only with the organisation, which is pretty obvious imo if you just read the news..

pretty surprised about this actually. OK seemed like a good organisation but considering all the other top squads they have in other games and the roster changes in the cs team i guess they just didnt want to spend that much on it anymore, which to me is pretty sad since i think they had almost as much potential as the old lineup :/

OK wasn't able to send a Finnish team to the events. What makes you think they would be able to send a _Brazilian_ team to the events? Since it's way more expensive.
