XLParty with $10,000 CS:GO tourney

The XLParty organisers have announced that they will hold a CS:GO tournament featuring $10,000 in cash prizes.

XLParty is one of the longest-running and biggest LAN parties in Europe, held approximately every three months, and the upcoming edition will take place at Feira Internacional de Lisboa (FIL), in the Portuguese capital of Lisbon, from December 14-16.

There will be several different tournaments taking place at the LAN party, with the League of Legends and CS:GO competitions collecting the biggest prizes.

Every tournament will adopt a BYOC (Bring Your Own Computer) mode, but it is also possible for teams to rent computers to play their matches.

The prize distribution for the CS:GO tournament is the following:

1. $5,000
2. $2,000
3. $1,250
4. $750
5-6. $300
5-6. $300
7-8. $200
7-8. $200

I'm sure about that, in a interview to one of the organizers, he said that they will host a CS and CSS tournament for those who want to continue play those games.

deadened they said... Anyway this will be nice for port6ugal scene but problem is it also clashes with northcon in germany. There is also a LAN in prauge by esports heaven hltv has not reported yet for some reason..

this is a lanparty , and xlparty almost neve had cash prizes only hardware , 10K tournaments its very good thing since they will keep 1.6 and css ( without prizes in cash )
