skall leaves eXtensive!
eXtensive! have announced that Benjamin " skall" Akiaya has parted company with the team.
The former PRIME team had high hopes for the French ESWC qualifier, but were unable to reach the final after losing 2-0 to BuyKey in the last-four stage.
Last weekend, eXtensive were seen triumphing at MontpellierInGame 2012 over PyRo|GEN, but not even that result was enough to keep the team together.
Akiaya has stepped down as an eXtensive! player due to his lack of time to practice, being replaced by Robin "GMX" Stahmer, who was the team's backup player.
"I would not be available to spend as much time as eXtensive requested until late December or January 2013," Akiaya told Vakarm.net.
"Practicing from 18:00 to 00:00 is inconceivable for me. After MiG, I saw some things that I did not like, to be honest, and about which I will not not comment any furtther.
"I just could not get used to a certain playing style and I was not willing to invest more time, also because I did not feel comfortable with my team-mates (especially on the game)."
eXtensive! are currently competing in the ESL Major Series, in which they have three victories from as many games, and are up for community vote in ESEA's Invite Division.
Following this change, eXtensive! now have the following roster:
Vincent "Happy" Cervoni
Dan "aPEX" Madesclaire
Mathieu "Maniac" Quiquerez
Michel "mshz-" Nguyen
Robin "GMX" Stahmer
