Samuel Popkes is a Junior Writer at HLTV, with a particular interest in North and South American Counter-Strike. Prior to HLTV, he got his start writing about Counter-Strike at Dust2.us in 2021, working with the site for almost two years. Outside of Counter-Strike, he is set to graduate with a degree in History in the spring of 2024, with plans to enroll in law school later in the year.
