DreamHack Bucharest viewer's guide

If you're trying to plan your weekend around the coming CS:GO action of DreamHack Bucharest you've come to the right place as our viewer's guide will have all the information you need.

DreamHack Bucharest has a very tight schedule with almost the entire tournament being scheduled for Saturday, and only the grand finals being left for Sunday, meaning day one will be packed with CS:GO.

The tournament at Sala Polivalenta will use the GSL group stage format, which means each group will basically be a small four team double elimination bracket, without the final being played.

Another DreamHack event plays host to this weekend's CS:GO action

As a result we can't list all the exact schedules for group games, but you can always try to figure them out on your own. Multiple streams and GOTVs will be available for each game.

Anders Blume will be streaming in English from FACEIT TV's studio in Milan, Italy, while Igor "sL4M" Sopov will be responsible for the Russian language stream.

Playoffs will be played out in a standard single elimination, best-of-three bracket with group winners facing second place finishers in the quarter-finals. How pairings will be done is still unknown.

Group stage:

Saturday, September 14th
09:00 Sweden NiP vs. Romania TeG Group A BO1
09:00 Sweden fnatic vs. Romania neXtPlease! Group A BO1
09:00 Denmark Cph Wolves vs. Romania IGG Group B BO1
09:00 Sweden n!faculty vs. Bulgaria HSBG Group B BO1
10:00 Group stage round two Group A + B BO1
11:00 Group stage round three Group A + B BO1
12:00 France VeryGames vs. Serbia Refuse Group C BO1
12:00 Sweden Lemondogs vs. Romania Tessa Group C BO1
12:00 Ukraine Astana Dragons vs. Romania FAW Group D BO1
12:00 Ukraine Na`Vi vs. Romania Beantown Bandits
Group D BO1
13:00 Group stage round two   Group C + D BO1
13:00 Group stage round three   Group C + D BO1

Playoffs:

Saturday, September 14th
15:00 Quarter-finals BO3
18:00 Semi-finals BO3

Sunday, September 15th
09:00 Grand final BO3

This is what will be at stake in Bucharest:

1. $7,500 + DreamHack Winter berth
2. $4,500
3-4. $1,500
3-4. $1,500

If you missed any of our pre-event interviews or the preview, you'll be able to find them in our coverage hub. Remember to also sign up for our Dreamteam game to compete for SteelSeries prizes.

What?? Im pretty confused. So you mean it will actually start at 10am in Bucharest, which is 8am GMT. Yes? I thought these times were local times, so it would be 6am for me xD

Hover over the time and it says what timezone it covers (usually set to the default you have it set to on site). So for example if it is 8am, then it is 8am your time.

IDGAF stop replying to me. It is not the fact that he sleeps to 11AM it is the fact that he complained that getting up at 9AM is a big fckin deal when clearly anyone with ANY responsibility that does not live at home anymore would face palm at that statement. Maybe you will realize that when you live in YOUR OWN house in the master bedroom with your wife.

Yes young, as in you are not in the real world yet and thus are not set into a routine. If you had to get up at 5AM - 6AM for work during the week you would NOT be sleeping in till 11 - 12AM on the weekend, that is a fact Norwegian or not.

You mean he's not a zombie slave who has to live his live by the clockwork while sucking big fat corporate Jewish dick? Yes it might indeed mean that he's still young, or might mean that he's leading a happier live, where he doesn't have to worry about elitist pricks picking on his schedule.

I would lean towards the fact that he works a meaningless job and does not have much responsibility in his life (yet), nor a significant other / children or a peice of property that he calls his own. Also it is not about living "by the clockwork while sucking big fat corporate Jewish dick" it is about getting up a decent hour so that you can get your life organized on weekends, not sleeping in till 11AM, messing with your weekday schedule. Get out of bed, do something that makes you happy CONTRIBUTE to society... work on your car, take care of your yard and property, plan an activity for the weekend etc, go for a walk with your significant other, ANYTHING other than going "UGGGH fck mornings 9 AM is tooooo early DERP".

9 am for a final on a SUNDAY is too early. I bet it'll have low numbers. Why not 13-14 so every continent can watch it?

I don't know know why tournaments are still uses that retarded system. It's random. Let's have a look at group a. NiP 16-4 TeG fnatic 16-2 nextPlease! NiP 16-12 fnatic TeG 12-16 nextPlease so here we have it, NIP advancing of course and after fnatic has completely destroyed nextPlease in the first match, they have to play nextPlease once more. this time however, nextPlease wins 14-16 and voila, nextPlease advances despite the fact that fnatic raped them 16-2 in the first match, they are 3rd. possibly just because they lost both pistol rounds and had 1 or 2 more unfortunate rounds. so random.
