Cursive lose CS:GO team

Cursive and their CS:GO division have parted company, Taneli "disturbed" Veikkola has confirmed.

Back in November, Cursive announced that they had decided to give CS:GO one more try and support a new team who revolved around Slaava "Twista" Räsänen and also featured four ex-members of ROCCAT.

On paper, Cursive's squad looked strong enough to battle for the top spot in the Finnish scene, but things did not go their way at Assembly Winter as the team crashed out of the tournament in the group stage following defeats to Minttu and H2k Gaming.

Twista & co looking for a new organisation

After the event, Cursive and the team decided to go their separate ways, leaving Slaava "Twista" Räsänen's side on the lookout for a new home.

"Assembly came and went, we did not manage to win it, but we had some good games and as a group we grew up a lot," Taneli "disturbed" Veikkola told sett.fi.

"From this day forward, we are free to represent any organisation. For the time being, we will be known as Finnish Royalty, and we can be reached at [email protected]."

Finnish Royalty's lineup is the following:

Tom "stonde" Glad

I have seen many. :) Also, I was in Russia last September (Petrozavodsk) and asked directions from local people there many times and they spoke very good English.

Funny how people still keep comparing CS 1.6 / CS:S to CS:GO, even tho it has the basis of the previous CS games it's still a totally different. Sure our team have "big names" from 1.6 and css, but we are still on learning progress and adapting to it, so stay with us. Sure we might not win anything big in near future but at least we are not afraid to lose and are sticking together.

Go ahead, clearly bad to see that swedish scene just stronger than other scenes here, since in cs:s they didn't came up with anything big,(x6 was decent a littlebit but nothing serious). I really miss a finnish team from the top like Insignia Cadre or Logitech.fi from 2004 :) I wish the same for the NL scene, does anyone know what's up with airraid, blaze, darky etc fnatic?
