k1ck conquer EPT 2010

k1ck eSports Club won Electronic Portugal Tour 2010 with a 2-1 win over Phantoms in the final.

k1ck and exotic had both been highly favoured to reach the EPT final, but the latter's second place in the group stage made it that the two Portuguese giants had to clash in the semi-finals, where k1ck came from behind to win it 2-1.

In the final, k1ck started out the better, winning de_nuke 16:11, but Phantoms made sure to state they were in the race for the top prize, and won de_dust2 with a scoreline of 16:14. de_inferno would also be a closer affair, but in the end k1ck proved they were the better side, claiming a 16:12 success to win the tie.

k1ck celebrating the end of the round, then coachi shouts "come on sons of bitches" to exotic, who were playing on the other side of the room, behind k1ck. then a lot of blabber and fox giving indications to axon while coachi still shouts "sons of bitches" again.

We haven't been able to play for some weeks, that is why we are not in better shape. You know, when you have 5 guys with different schedules it is very hard to find compatible time for all to pracctice, we had some work in university and some extra activities so we weren't able to pracctice at all. We will be prepared for the next event.

Yes, we acctually were. After dreamhack we didn't play any CS for 2 months because of university exams and christmas vacations. In mid february we started praccticing again but had to interrupt our pracctice due to some extra activities of some of the players. As we don't have any international tournament soon, we tought it would be ok not to be in real good shape, but now we will get back on track and hoppefully continue what we've done in gamegune and dreamhack winter. See you guys next event.

Best portuguese awp (fox), Best 3 rifflers (axon, shouw, mutt) and the best IGL (coachi) btw, coachi also have a good AIM! weapoN is good awpper, but fox is anyway better! i don't understand why coachi put weapon on the team but ok. The only advantage of having 2 awppers in the team is playing for exemple on de_train.
