Moscow Five remove xek

According to gamesworld.ru, Moscow Five have dispensed with the services of Alexandr "xek" Zobkov.

Reports of an impending roster change at the former MYM team were already in the air at the IEM5 World Championship, where the Russian side failed to go beyond the group stage.

Zobkov had been with the team since their creation in July under the name [u.s.b], playing an important part as they won ASUS Autumn.

This marks the first roster change for the Russian team, who joined Moscow Five from MYM last month.

Moscow Five release xek

In Hannover, Moscow Five beat TCM-Gaming and UMX, but still finished behind mTw, Frag eXecutors and compLexity in the group.

Moscow Five now have:

Eduard "ed1k" Ivanov
Roman "ROMJkE" Makarov
Mihail "Dosia" Stolyarov
Sergey "Fox" Stolyarov

I dont see the reason why they doing so, progaming is seriously mad business, teams like them should stay together as long is possible, improve teamplay, do some crazy new tactics and surprise top teams. Not changing players like old shoes get new ones and never reach top 3 on any tournament. Or even comming inactive and then active again like MIBR does last 3-4 years. This news just made me realise that theyr not even worth reading (sorry MIRAA your doing great job)

If they had the same resources like NaVi, big salary, a nice appartment so they ae like bootcamping all the time, and playing like 12 hours a day, it would be possible. The same with all the other top teams, most of the players in mTw are studying, i cant imagine how they would be if they did the same like NaVi :P

xek always performs very well in russia but outside he sadly often underperforms. he's a great player but I'm sure M5 will find a better and more suitable replacement which hopefully will take M5 to the next level. maybe they will add overdrive and they will become OverDrive5 but this will definitely not take them to the next level. I'd say there are plenty of players who can take this position.
