Defs release CS team
Defining Stars have announced they have parted company with their Counter-Strike squad.
This decision comes just one day after the Portuguese team suffered the loss of Ricardo "rmn" Oliveira to Paranoids.
Defs, who finished in second place at XLParty and fourth place at the EPT3 finals, have dispensed with the services of the CS team due to the project's lack of stability.
"I am saddened by this announcement," said Defs leader Ricardo "unjust" Canessa. "Anyway, I just have to thank them for the work they did while representing this house and wish them the best of luck.
"As for the future, as you can imagine, we are tired of the constant changes, but (un)fortunately, CS is the game that still attracts the biggest audiences and it is also my favourite game, so the most likely thing is that we will have news."
It is still unknown whether the team will continue together or the players will go their separate ways. The XLParty runners-up are involved in the Iberian League, in which they won their first match.
Defs had the following lineup:
Joel "gax" Meira
Mário "n0rx" Pacheco
Vasco "vsk" Santos
Tiago "LOBO" Fontes
