dateam have announced they have parted ways with Christian "floreNz" Shahan.

The Swedish player, who had been part of the team since their creation, has been given his marching orders for reasons they decided not to reveal.

"We leave that up to florenz," Danniél "dalito" Morales told HLTV.org. "We do not want to comment about this, but it was necessary."

The decision comes just two weeks after dateam looked to be heading in the right direction with the announcement that Mattias "Snajdan" Andersen would stay on after representing them at Xperia PLAY as a stand-in.

In Copenhagen, dateam were dumped out of the tournament in the second group stage with three defeats, a campaign which was did not match the side's expectations.

Morales added that the team are currently testing a new player, whose name should be announced in the near future as their next challenge, the IOS WCG pre-qualifier, will come in just two weeks' time.

apart from zneel fails under lan pressure, if there smart they'll get someone who's experience in the lineup.. a lot of experience, if they do then they'll go far. Mark my words (hopefully they haven't got massive ego's and are smart about this.. :))

walle wont come back to the game (or I hope) theres a life past gaming and it was a good decision by walle to stop playing and realise the world beyond gaming and hopefully he's enjoying it - one chapter of his life over with which i'm sure he's enjoyed.

I'm pretty sure, when Snajdan got in, he was more serious about gaming and to achieve something he need's players who are 100% into CS and don't play just to burn time or whatever. He wants to prove something, so he wants a line-up, who are 100% concentrating on the game and want to achieve something. My guess floreNz wasn't happy anymore. Couldn't bitch on players or like not show on pracs, when there is a party somewhere or smoke weed before practice something like that. Notorious mixer. No offense floreNz. You just aren't serious enough for gaming imo.

imo you can't say anything (except their results) about the team, where you don't know anyone, where you weren't atleast a day. that's their problems, disputes, you know.

snajdan has experience, you need a lineup with experienced player(s). Might not be a massive fragger but he's a big asset to the team, and I hope they realise that also.. So many 'new' teams try and make a lovely lineup on paper, snajdan has been around since when I started and proved himself in the past, florenz, no offense to the kid but sounds like he's a floater amongist top teams, had had oppotunity at dreamhack last year and when watching behind him he blew it big time.. full buying ammo like a spaz then not being able to drop next round I liturally face palm'd, his not really a brainer - hopefully he'll realise this and listen more to comments and take it as postitive thing, but from experience the guy just needs to 'learn' a bit more from the scene and game and push himself as a teamplayer instea as an individual (where snajdan has proven himself, and florzen not so much, sorry to say it lad.)

floreNz is a d-bag team hopper...all he does his entire career is jump from team to team hoping to god one day he would land in SK, waste of time washed up player. Dalito is good but kind of unknown he can be like the next Xizt hes got skill. This team would be good if they can grab this lineup; dalito rape Snajdan hyvlarn manne Zyppe/zneel would be great additions but pretty sure they are both done playing competitively.
